A group of suspected cultists have been apprehended by the police in
Ebonyi State. The state Commissioner of Police, CP Peace Abdallah, made
this disclosure on Wednesday while parading the suspects.
According to the CP, the incident occurred at Igboeze Onicha in Onicha area of the state.
“Six of the cult boys - Ugochukwu Onueze, Michael Innocent, Ogbonnaya
Okike, Ogbonnaya Ogbu, Nnamdi Ogbonnaya and Emmanuel James - abducted
two girls, dragged them into the bush, initiated them into their cult
group and forcibly had carnal knowledge of them.
“The suspected cultists are said to be members of a terror cult group
popularly known as German Arror,” CP Abdallah noted, adding that they
will be charged to court.
